BaliJewel's skilled artisans strive to create pieces that will allow you to see the picturesque beauty and pristine landscapes of Bali in your mind's eye. Using the utmost care and artistry, as well as hard-earned skills that have been passed down through the generations, each artist handcrafts each piece with the goal of creating a piece of wearable art that allows you to feel the warmth of the Balinese people.

Every piece we offer is the result of a design that is completely exclusive to BaliJewel -- the result of a carefully nurtured creative process. We take this process extremely seriously, and we safeguard it by copyrighting each BaliJewel design.

Our Story

BaliJewel is the shared vision of Christina Tobin and Deni Aryasa, two friends who met in Bali and discovered that they shared a dream of preserving and advancing the artistic tradition of Bali by helping people around the world experience beautiful, unique creations that can become a cherished part of their lives.

Born in Texas, Christina first experienced and fell in love with Bali when she moved there after college to manage the Ubud Village Resort. While working there in 2005, she met artist Deni Aryasa.

Deni sought a way to continue and extend the creative traditions of his family not by imitating the designs of the past, but by paying homage to them through creations that are current, yet timeless. At the time, he was an experienced artisan who had previously contributed his talents to such manufacturers as John Hardy and Samuel Benham.

Because BaliJewel is a labor of love, we take pride in the excellence of our individually sculpted jewelry, which is matched only by our dedication to satisfying our customers. Although BaliJewel is incorporated in Chicago, IL, all our pieces are inspired, designed, and manufactured in Bali. Bali truly inspires all that we do, and in recognition of that fact, we donate 10 percent of all our proceeds to Bali Outreach.

Bali Outreach

Bali Outreach is a non-profit, non-sectarian, non-religious organization dedicated to making the lives of Balinese children and families better by providing educational experiences and training opportunities. The group helps participants acquire real-world skills that are in demand while simultaneously enhancing their sense of self-worth and accomplishment. The result is individuals who are better able to help themselves, their loved ones, and their communities.
